If only there was a manual!

Wouldn't it be lovely if there was a guidebook that forewarned of dangers, that illuminated potholes and truly lit the path for life? I wish!
For years I thought otherwise. I was raised to believe otherwise - that the Bible was in fact that guidebook. What I've come to learn is the Bible is but a collection of tales. It recounts of people blindly walking by faith and others not. It recounts of stories where challenges were presented irrespective of faith, and choices were always in the midst.
What will I choose?
On the precipice of a new season, I have been posed with that question.
What will I choose? Where will I go? What will I do?
Holding a one-way ticket to Europe, taking a deep shaky breath, I have absolutely no idea! What I do know is that I will seek until I find...
What? I'm not too sure.
The world has been in such a state of chaos - my world has been in chaos. In this past season I have been forced to take off my rose-coloured glasses and see. I haven't liked the sight. The black and white images have been quite bleak.
I've come to realise that I could either stay on a carousel of chaos, or jump off into the unknown.
I jumped!
It's time to find colour again. It's time to get off the monotonous nightmare and embrace shades other than the pronounced 'darkness' I was bound by. It's time to hold onto hope.
It's always there, sometimes it's just hiding.
The tale that follows will be of my blind footsteps into the wilderness of life. I don't know what to expect so I cannot forewarn of what is to come, all I can do is welcome you along the way.
Whether or not you can take a spontaneous trip, my hope is that you too can bask in the colours that are sometimes hiding. That you find them, embrace them, and chase them!
We only have one life, it's time to live it!
